Frequently Asked Questions

An emotional wellbeing coach helps you understand your feelings, why they show up, and how to respond to them in a healthier, more balanced way. It’s a supportive, forward‑focused approach designed to help you feel steadier, clearer, and more confident in everyday life.

Rather than exploring diagnoses or deep clinical history, emotional wellbeing coaching looks at what you’re experiencing right now and gives you practical tools to move through it. This might include recognising emotional triggers, understanding patterns, building resilience, and learning new ways to manage stress or overwhelm.

Yes.

Seeing an emotional wellbeing coach is for anyone over the age of 6 years old. From kids to adults it can be beneficial for everyone.

Emotional wellbeing coaching can help individuals in many ways, including:

  • Improving self‑awareness and helping people understand themselves more deeply
  • Developing new skills and creating positive habits that support long‑term growth
  • Building accountability so progress feels steady and achievable
  • Planning effectively for personal goals and finding practical ways to overcome obstacles
  • Increasing self‑confidence and strengthening belief in their own abilities
  • Turning ideas into a clear direction with realistic, meaningful goals

I understand that plans can change, and I aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. Cancellations made 72 hours before your appointment are charged at 50% of the session fee, and cancellations made within 48 hours are fully charged. This ensures I can honour the time set aside for you and offer the space to someone else if needed.

Every client is different, so there’s no fixed number of sessions you must have. Many people begin with a block of sessions because meaningful change usually develops over time rather than in a single conversation. A series of sessions allows us to explore your goals more deeply, build momentum, and create lasting shifts.

If you’re unsure, we can start with one session and then discuss what feels right for you. I’ll always be honest about whether ongoing work would be beneficial, and you’re free to move at a pace that suits you.

One‑off sessions are available if you’re looking for support with a specific issue or simply want to get a feel for how I work. Most clients find they get the greatest benefit from a series of sessions, as deeper change and lasting progress usually unfold over time. If you choose to start with a single session, we can explore together whether ongoing coaching would be helpful for you.

Lessons are available online or in person. In person sessions are based in Rugby, Daventry and Long Buckby.

Each session is a calm, supportive space focused entirely on you. We start with a gentle check‑in to see how you’re feeling and what you’d like to explore. From there, we talk through what’s been happening in your life, notice any patterns, and work together to find clearer, steadier ways forward.

Emotional wellbeing coaching can support people who are feeling low, worried, or overwhelmed. It helps you understand what you’re feeling, recognise triggers, and learn practical tools to feel more balanced day‑to‑day. Coaching is not a clinical treatment for depression or anxiety. Many people use coaching alongside other support to help them feel steadier and more confident.

People often start to notice small but meaningful shifts. You might feel clearer about what you want, more confident in your decisions, or simply more able to handle things that used to feel overwhelming. Some clients see practical changes in their daily life, while others describe a deeper sense of calm or a stronger connection to themselves.

Coaching isn’t about instant fixes. It’s about steady progress that builds over time. My aim is to help you make changes that feel real and lasting, so the benefits stay with you long after our sessions finish.

 Yes.
